| CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not apply the peel in the following cases:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Irritated or damaged skin, open wounds, active-phase acne
- Bacterial, fungal or viral infection (herpes, warts, molluscum contagiosum, etc.). For patients who are prone to herpes, it is advisable to prevent herpes outbreaks through prior antiviral treatment
- Chronic skin conditions (rosacea, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, etc.) and autoimmune disorders (collagenosis, psoriasis, type 1 diabetes, etc.)
- Existence of keloids and/or hypertrophic scars
- Photosensitivity
- Radiotherapy
- Professional beauty treatments (laser, dermabrasion, mesotherapy, injections, tattooing), recent surgical interventions on the area to be treated and any other treatment liable to compromise skin structure
- Benzoyl peroxide or retinoic (adapalene, tazarotene, etc.) topical drug treatment. Stop the treatment 2 weeks prior to the peel based on skin condition
- Retinoic drug treatment (isotretinoin, alitretinoin, etc.). Stop the treatment 6 months prior to the peel based on skin condition and up to 2 months following the final session
- Allergy to any of the ingredients
- Any other case where the patient may be excluded following medical examination
| PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
- External use only
- Only to be used by professional aware of the likely complications of superficial peels and their treatment
- For adults only
- Do not use if there is visible damage to the packaging or the product
- Make sure you have all protocol items, contained in the box, to hand before proceeding
- Allergic reactions inherent to any product used topically exist. If in doubt, carry out a tolerance test on a small area behind the ear, following the protocol thoroughly. If no reaction appears within 72 hours, it is safe to use the peel
- Wear gloves, safety glasses and a gown
- Do not swallow. In the event of accidental ingestion, rinse the mouth immediately with water
- In the event of accidental contact with untreated skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water
- Shake before use
- Clean the cup and the brush thoroughly between each peel
- Never place the peel directly above the patient to avoid accidental spillage and splashing
- Do not degrease the skin and/or use astringent products (such as acetone or alcohol) to clean the skin before the peel
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes: pay particular attention to the periocular and perioral areas when applying the peel. In the event of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water for 15 minutes keeping the eyelids open. Consult a doctor
- If the patient wears contact lenses, ask them to remove them before proceeding
- In the event of an adverse reaction when the peel is being applied (whitening, intense erythema, feeling of heat and/or intense tingling, pain, etc.), remove the product, apply the NEUTRALIZER and rinse with water if required
- Pay particular attention to patients with phototype V or VI skin given the risk of pigment relapse: reduce the time the peel is left on
- Any changes in protocol must be based on the healthcare professional's assessment of the patient's skin type, treatment tolerance and the result desired
| ADVERSE EFFECTS:
- Symptoms such as discomfort, tautness, tingling, mild erythema, irritation, mild to moderate flaking and/or a feeling of heat may appear after treatment.
- If these symptoms worsen and/or continue after 72 hours, a consultation with the patient should be arranged.
- In the event of an allergic reaction or any other adverse effect, a consultation with the patient should be arranged as quickly as possible and treatment should be stopped immediately.
- In the event of adverse effects, contact LABORATOIRE ENEOMEY or make a declaration to competent auhority , to help enhance product safety.
